CIW part 3

On Thursday, Logan took Barry, Marcia and Jared and the kids to the Shell Middens to explore, while I shopped at Young'uns.

 

Then we had more friends, Hannah Whitney and her boys, come for a visit.

 

Thursday evening, the boys had baseball practice.  So we headed to Boothbay for Bet's Fish Fry and stopped at Barrett's Park afterward so Jared could swim in the ocean at least once.  They had to pack up and leave early Friday morning.

 We had such a great week with Marcia's family and with our own family, truly vacationing instead of working remotely from CIW as we've done for years.  We just relaxed and played and it was wonderful. :)

CIW part 2

Rebecca had to leave Wednesday morning, via Uncle Barry's chauffeur service and with Jared in the backseat to see airplanes.  So we invited some friends to come keep us company on the lake.  The Funderburks, Gillespies, Jamiesons and Pinkhams made it up.  We had a fun-filled afternoon on the water!

CIW part 1

We just spent our annual vacation week at Cottage in the Woods in Damariscotta!  Saturday evening, after working and packing all day, we were unloaded so we hit the lake for a sunset boat ride.

Abbey screamed hysterically for several minutes and then decided that she enjoyed the boat and wouldn't be afraid anymore.

Popcorn and "When Calls the Heart"

Marcia and Barry, Rebecca and Jared pulled in around 11:30 p.m. Friday after driving 18 hours.  The kids had wanted to stay up and greet them but they just couldn't make it that long. :)  We all went to church Sunday morning and then I had to work while everyone else went back to CIW.  Here is everyone getting a virtual tour of Grandma Perry's new car. :)

After Sunday, we pretty much played on the lake most of the rest of the week.

Phillip brought the triplets and their mini kayaks one afternoon.
