When Logan was a missionary in Romania, he spent a lot of time at the farm that Clark and Sue Phillips were running for an orphanage. Retired dairy farmers from NY state, they were the closest Americans to where Logan was serving in Oradea. In December, one of their granddaughters was married in Boston and they took the opportunity to drive up and stay with us. When Josiah found out they had a large farm (now run by their children) with 30 tractors and hundreds and hundreds of dairy cows, he went into full-on interrogation mode. He even brought out his box full of toy tractors and pulled out each one, asking, "Do you have one like this?" The Phillips treated us to a dinner out at Robinson's Wharf and came bearing maple syrup and toffee. It was really nice to have them and we look forward to when we can visit their farm. :)
