The Perry Salon

I promised Josiah that I would put pictures of his haircut on my blog, and that was over two weeks ago!!! I just remembered, as I was scrolling through this month's picture album. He was very good and patient while Logan trimmed him up. He'll be so happy to see these on here. :)

At the Railway Village

Josiah has been working on completing his train engineer getup for a long time now, first with the overalls and hat from Grandma and Papa McNutt on his third birthday, then his engineer gloves from Logan and I this spring, a red kerchief from Logan, and finally a puncher from Grandma's coffee shop this week. We go to the Railway Village about 5 times a week, and Josiah increasingly wants to arrive in costume, so on Thursday, as Josiah was prepping himself for our train adventure, Benjamin made the first sign of jealousy about all of this, with pursed lips and brows and an irritated sounding whimper. It had occured to me that he might like his own overalls, but they're a little pricey new, so yesterday I rushed over to Young'uns in Damariscotta and scored one for only $4! He's already outgrown it, but Benji doesn't know that. He's thrilled. We brought the boys today and they got countless comments on their cute outfits. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the other engineer hat at the crucial moment, so we left home without it. I will certainly take more pictures once we complete Benjamin's entire look. :)

Fun in the Sun....FINALLY!!!

July started with rain and highs in the 50's (after the entire month of June was the same way), so it was a relief when the sun finally made it's appearance last week! Here are some pictures from our week: Making our way to Ocean Point last Sunday.

The boys had a blast climbing on the rocks!

At the Whale Park in BBH for the Doggie Parade this past Saturday.

Benji was impressed with the races!

Josiah and Grandma coaxing Molly through the hoop.

For the Hot Dog challenge, Josiah couldn't get Molly to run with her hot dog. It was consumed in seconds! :)

Benji fell off of a chair and bit a hole in his tongue this Wednesday, and was showing it off yesterday. It looks a lot better in this picture than when it first happened!

Cole Lutterman looking sharp with his new mohawk! :)

Poor Josiah has a sadistic photojournalist of a mother...he had just fallen while running down our hill, and tore a huge chunk of skin back on his big toe...and I captured the mending process. First response was to run for the ice cream sandwiches...that always helps!!! :)

A millisecond after this picture, Baby Tanner lunged for the ice cream sandwich in his daddy's hand and shoved a bit in his mouth! :)

Class Reunion

Saturday was the 10 year reunion for the BRHS class of 1999! Out of our class of 56, only 15 could make it, so many were missed. But it was wonderful to see those who did! Logan and I only had a short window of time before we had to pick up our boys, so I'm disappointed that I didn't have a chance to catch up with everyone there. I'm hoping we'll have another reunion soon!!! Left to Right: Me, Monica, Matt, Jimmy, Lisa, Jessica, Annie, Adrianne, Joe, Sarah, Donnie, Sadie, Sarah, Angelica --Ben is missing! :(

I only took a few candids. Wish I had captured more for posterity!

You don't want to get caught in the Bermuda Triangle of photographers!

Logan's birthday!

July 2nd was Logan's 34th birthday! Josiah helped me bake Logan's favorite german chocolate cupcakes, and of course we had to decorate with streamers! Josiah and Benjamin were very excited to have a birthday party, so we owe Mom and Dad big time for treating us to lobster and making Logan's birthday dinner extra special. Josiah insisted that Daddy wear "the birthday hat"

Benji posing for the camera. :)

The boys mostly played with their food!

The family.

Logan needed help to blow out all 34 candles!
He also blew out a few candles the night before at Bible Study.
