Pretty Abigail

I love the dress Abigail wore today. She looked so pretty. :)

Wash dishes or post pictures?

No contest! Post pictures! :)

Last Sunday was Abigail's first time to church. Grandma was happy to hold her, and we're pretty sure she was singing along to the hymns. She doesn't make a lot of noise usually, but when we were all singing, she started moaning loudly. :)
Jen and Cindy had fun fighting over her after church! Pastor Glen had asked us to circle the congregation so everyone could see her during the service, and then we were surrounded by 'oooing' and 'ahhhing' admirers afterwards. :)
I discovered this week that the bean bag is comfortable to Abigail, and also that the boys can 'babysit' her for a little bit here and there. They are very sweet to her, and she doesn't object to being left at their mercy (under my supervision!). Here, Josiah was reading a Thomas the Tank Engine book to his little sister and brother.
Tammy arrived for a week and stopped by with Uncle Jim and Aunt Linda to meet the baby.

We took the boys (I mean kiddos!) to the Railway Village Saturday for the Pumpkin Patch event. It was Abbie's first train ride, plus there was a hay ride, barrel train ride, cookies and cider, and the kids could pick a pumpkin out and paint it there. It was a lot of fun, even in the blistering cold!

Our little buddy Anthony was on the same train with us.
The boys treat the Railway Village staff like family. :)
Today was 'church day' again, as the boys call it, and Tammy came along with us and then treated us to lunch at Moody's Diner. She spotted a pretty tree outside the church and took some pictures of our family for us.

Benjamin kept tasting lemons at Moody's even though he didn't like them. He'll do anything for a laugh. :)

You Want 'Em, I've Got 'Em

I see that people are checking the blog everyday, and I assume you're waiting for more pictures of our little peanut, Abigail. I'm so sorry to keep you waiting! I've lost my dish washer-laundry maid-nanny-etc.etc.etc., so I don't have any spare time anymore!!! Logan's mom left us Tuesday after 16 days of hard work. We cannot possibly express how grateful we are for all of her help! It made the transition to three munchkins nearly seamless. Here are some pictures from the bus station:

Abigail means "A father's rejoicing," and as you can see, Logan is thoroughly enjoying his new little bundle:

Laura was eager to meet Abigail when she returned from NC:

I had a "Mother's Little Helper" this Wednesday for a few hours: Ally came over to hold the baby and entertain the boys! It was a wonderful break for me to do some housework, so everyone was happy.

Aly's little sister Lily was eager to hold the baby:

Here's documentation of the saying, "Three's a crowd." The boys are very excited about Abigail's toys:

Here's a cute picture of the boys sleeping at Papa and Grandma's when we were at the hospital.

And the siblings:

We celebrated Abigail's 0 birthday:

Mommy's First Dress

At one of my baby showers, my mother gave me several outfits I wore as an infant and toddler along with pictures of me wearing them. Here is a picture of me coming home from the hospital, followed by a few pictures of Miss Abbie wearing her mommy's first dress:

Fun with Bree's Camera

Our flash is broken, so when Bree offered to leave her camera with us at the hospital, we eagerly agreed. I took a bunch of pictures with the night photo setting Tuesday night, when Abigail perked up at bedtime. Her favorite time of day is when everyone is asleep but her mommy. :)

Getting to Know Abigail

Here are some photos of our princess getting to know her family and friends: She hasn't quite grown into her engineer hat yet!

The Grandmas can't get enough of the new baby!

Lisa brought Tanner and Kole to the hospital.

Uncle Danny and April came down from Portland.

Auntie Linda rushed Nana over to get her baby fix when we got home.

The boys have been very affectionate with their little sister. :)

10-4, 10-4, 10-4

Yesterday was the big day! 10-4-2010. We were scheduled for an induction, so we got to arrive at the hospital stress free. The pitocin was started at 10, and everything was over at 4:06! I got my epidural and cannot say enough for delivering with drugs, especially when your little princess weighs 10 lbs 4 0z and measures 22 inches long! 10-4, 10-4, 10-4. This number must have some significance for Abigail. Time will tell! Here are some pictures from our first day with Abigail:
