Visit with Jon

We stopped in Lynn and spent a couple hours visiting Uncle Johnny on our way back to Maine.  He was very impressive to Josiah and Ben.  Here he is teaching them how to roll a cigarette:

We had a delicious lunch just a couple blocks from his apartment.

And we made sure to snap some pictures with Jon before we left. 

Christmas and Cousin Time in DE

We left NC Sunday morning and made it to DE at 2:30.  Matthew's in-laws, Herb and Laurel, brought everyone out to lunch at Red Robin when we arrived!  The cousins were all jacked up seeing each other again!

Back at the house, Josiah and Ben were anxious to play their cousins' xbox and wii.

They all attempted to play Monopoly together, but that only lasted less than an hour.

Abbey is both fascinated and fearful of Biscuit. :)

A quiet movie time.  This is a parental coping mechanism for being around so much energy and noise all day.

I stayed in DE until Thursday, but Logan left early Monday morning at 3:00 a.m. to get back to the office and back to work.  So Logan, Mom and I exchanged our gifts privately downstairs Sunday evening.  The kids all opened their gifts Monday afternoon.

On Wednesday, Matthew, Heather and I took the kids to Herr's Potato Chip Factory for a tour.  It was fun and they gave us lots of free samples!

And then we enjoyed a yummy Chinese buffet!  Fun day!

We had to leave Sunday morning, so this was a short visit.  But the kids always enjoy being on the farm with their Papa.  They came to get me to take these pics with the dogs:

And Josiah had been eager to see Papa's new tractor.  He even got to drive it!
