This week in Perry doings...

The boys have been playing with their Star Wars Legos non-stop since going to see The Force Awakens.

Abbey made a bed in the kitchen to be near me. :)

Josiah read a book to Molly. :)

The Griffiths had dinner with us and then we watched "Song of the Sea."

Abbey and Georgia :)

I put Abbey to bed and came out to see that Logan and Ben didn't make it downstairs.

Ben and his stuffy after Pajama Day at school. :)

Finally, a little snow!

Grandma under her grandkids, watching the Seahawks. :)

Smooch!

Abbey has been making "cookies": bread, butter and sprinkles.

Playing "Duck, Duck, Jehoshaphat" in the Pool.

Father Daughter Dance

Abbey was so excited to go to the Father Daughter Dance at the Opera House!  Daddy got her some pink tulips which were a big hit:

She wanted a picture with Molly too. :)

At the dance, Abbey told Logan she wanted to live there forever. :)

Logan had been sick and Abbey's Sunday School class made Get Well cards this Sunday, so she gave him this sweet card:

Field Tripping and Ice Skating

I was going to take all three kiddos out of school for a field trip with the co-op, but Ben was worried about getting behind at school so he didn't come.  Josiah and I had a great time!  We went to the Maine State Museum.  First we visited the exhibits for an hour.

Then the little kids and the big kids split up for classes.  Abbey learned about wool and Josiah learned about prehistoric Maine life - how the topography was originally like the Alps but six mile high ice glaciers shaved the peaks down, and specifically how caribou were hunted with arrow heads and the meat was stored in holes protected by large stones, basically prehistoric refrigerators.  Then they made their own arrowheads with shells and deer antlers.  It was fascinating!

Wooly Mammoth fossils found in Maine!

Leah and Christopher watched from their stroller. :)

Then after lunch, we met with the IT staff at the Maine State Library and got to see large 3D printers at work, plus coding robots.  It was awesome!  Josiah was very intrigued.

Abbey loved this 3D printed hand!

Jamie was there with Zuri, Moriah, and Elijah.

And we finally went ice skating this Saturday!  The weather has been too warm until now. :)

Visit with Lucy and Vicky

Since mom was here in January, Lucy and Vicky drove down to see us!  We had a fun luncheon together and a drive around Boothbay, including a stop at our old stomping grounds, Harborfields.
 High school besties.

 Our sweet mothers.

My teeth hurt from smiling for this picture--it was so cold at Ocean Point!

Lucy on the rope swing at Harborfields. :)

When the kids got home from school, Josiah swore two times in front of our guests and Abbey made us "cookies" with bread, butter and sprinkles. :)

Green teeth!

Here are a couple pics Terri found this week from our glory days. :)

Our final Christmas celebration!

We went over to Danny and April's house for our fourth and final Christmas.  I brought this yummy Brownie Peanut Butter Cup Trifle and April ordered pizza.  We had a fun visit and the boys and Grandma got to watch the Seahawk's game.

And we opened more gifts!

The boys got Patriots jerseys:

Abbey got a Barbie horse with two dolls:

Walter kept giving Josiah open-mouthed kisses. :)

And we had fun with our pup relatives!

Afterwards, Logan and the boys went to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens, while Abbey and I puttered around Brunwick during a torrential rainstorm.  We bought a bunch of books at Goodwill and had fun wandering around the strip mall.
