Fisherman's Festival

this weekend was the annual fisherman's festival in boothbay harbor. we knew josiah would want to see the cod fish relay race, and then we stayed around a little longer until the boys had had enough. ya'll need to come visit us in our fun little town! it's very beautiful here. :)

April trip to NC & VA

Logan, Josiah, Benji and I packed up and headed south for a week! We had a wonderful visit with family and truly enjoyed the warm weather and beautiful flowers. Josiah was very impressed with all of the tractors, horses and cows in the area, and Benji seemed to be impressed by all of the attention he was getting. He won't let me put him down anymore because he's so spoiled! :) Here's a sampling of pictures from our trip, in random order.

logan took 'siah fishing at aunt pat's house.......but josiah wants instant results so he got bored with fishing pretty fast. :)

this is for kristin :)

Rules-- a. Answer the questions about yourself
b. After posting, tag 5 people by going to their blog and leaving a comment

1. What were you doing 10 years ago? i was 17....finishing my junior year in high school, getting sunburnt on a trip to the carribbean with eliza kinsey's family and crystal higgins (uleau), playing on the high school tennis team and keeping busy with music lessons, choir, friends, etc.

4-make dinner
5-shower.....maybe

3. What snacks do I enjoy? anything with sugar in it, chips, cheese sticks, basically anything that will pack on the pounds

4. What would I do if I were to suddenly become a billionaire? pay off my debt, pay off my family's debt, give some of it away, travel and put it in the bank (this is kristin's answer...but it sounds good to me)

5.3 bad habits:
1-biting my nails

thawing out in maine and massachusetts

it was 60 degrees yesterday in maine!!!!!!! praise the LORD!!!!!!! it felt so wonderful to bask in some sunshine and see all the snow banks melting away. logan and i got away from gloomy maine over to weekend to see friends in massachusetts. it was a refreshing and fun trip, and we got some extra family time when our brakes went out shortly after we hit the road for home sunday afternoon. :) we spent an extra night in ma and got back on the road at 11 monday morning. no problemo. :)

snap! go fish.

so....................i sent four rolls of film off to snapfish four weeks ago with the pictures from josiah's birthday party. a little over a week after i sent them, i was wondering why i hadn't gotten an email from snapfish confirming that they had received them. it hit me: i probably didn't put a single label on any of my film, the order form, or the envelope!!! i'm such a scatter brain since i became a mom. i think i had a lobotomy when josiah was conceived. i've called a couple times to give a description of my film, and i'm praying, praying, praying that they find my precious pictures!!! i just wanted to explain why i hadn't posted any pictures yet from his party.
