First Hair Cut

We arrived in North Carolina yesterday, and the first order of business was a haircut for our hairy little man! This was a group effort, led primarily by Logan's sister Marcia, with small contributions by Logan and myself. We didn't want it to be too short; just out of his eyes so he would look more civilized. Grandma and Papa McNutt back in Maine were anxious to see what Josiah's makeover had done for him, so I made sure to blog as soon as I could!
The Before shot from last week
Enjoying all of the attention (and a lolipop helped too)

And After; much improved!

We're in NC for a week, then we're spending next weekend with Logan's grandparents and Aunt Emily in VA, and then we'll be home on Memorial Day. We'll have many more memories to share with you from the coming week!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!!!!

We have big news! I've been meaning to let people know individually, but I'm a procrastinator, and everyone seems to know already by the time I get around to telling them. So here it is.....drum roll please.................

We're having a baby!!!!
Yippee!!!!
I'm already 12 weeks along, due Nov. 23rd. Pregnancy the second time around isn't nearly as exciting as the first time, but it has been going very well. I've just been exhaaaaauuussssssted trying to keep up with our hyper little toddler while my body is begging me to rest. Most of the time that Josiah spends napping, I spend sacked out on the couch. I noticed my energy returning a few days ago though, so things are looking brighter.
We're flying to North Carolina on Saturday for a visit with Logan's family. It will be so fun to see how everyone responds to Josiah's new "Tazmanian Devil" personality. He never stops moving and is very strong willed. Of course I think he's brilliant and perfect though. :)
Hope everything is well with you! Keep in touch.

Josiah-siah-bo-biah

I think it's time to post some more Josiah-shots. I haven't been taking as many pictures this past month as I did for his first 13 months of life. It's not because he's any less cute though! Josiah is growing very big and is more and more energetic every day.
Also, FYI, since I updated to the new version of blogger, I haven't been able to remember my ID to reply to comments. So do know that I am reading your comments and wish I could respond!!!
