Trippin' South

We headed down to Virginia and North Carolina to visit the family from August 7th-16th. We left 8 p.m. the 7th and arrived at 9 a.m. at "Big Papa's House" to pick up Aunt Emily, then went straight to Sentara Heart "Hopsible" in Norfolk to see Logan's grandfather (a.k.a. "Big Papa"). The rest of the week we were in NC with Aunt Marcia, Uncle Barry, Rebecca and Jared, with several trips up to the hospital. We went back to the grandparent's house the 14th and left from VA on the 15th, driving through the night again, 7:15 p.m. to 7:45 a.m. It was good to be with the family a little while during this difficult time.

We made sure we had something reliable to take our 'precious cargo' that far!
